Numerous site updates have been implemented here at tech-rant today. First, the javascript loading bar has been removed; because I HATE javascript. Users of Firefox should consider using NoScript to set which sites they wish to block javascript from. As obviously, you need it for some sites, e.g on-line banking, etc. Secondly, I have updated some of the descriptions of the downloads -- thanks for the tip Myhringoc! Live links have been added to the support forum, and to the latest patch from the core install. Forth, I have removed the Google Analytics and SnakeSEO scripts from the site. The Google Analytics script doubled the page loading time, I do not care how good it might be if it has such a detrimental effect. The SnakeSEO script can ban you from google, so anybody using it should reconsider. It uses a javascript, yep that useless thing, mirror page filled with keywords, such a tactic is not allowed under Google's terms. Fifth and finally, make a move and plead the fifth 'cause ya can't plead the first: can't waste a day when the night brings a hearse. A little Rage Against the Machine, heh.
