Rants

I ranted earlier about Sony Ericsson being rather slow on their uptake of Windows Vista. Well it seems they have pulled their fingers out (nicely after I have dumped Vista.) Still their support is baffling...

If you happen to use either of the W800, W810, or K750 models, you're screwed until the 9th of August. These models were in such high demand when they came out that I couldn't get one without contract of at least £40, for a minimum of 18 months (80 bucks to those over the pond.) That makes the iPhone seem cheap! Then you have the Pay As You Go crowd to think about, who end up buying the phones contract users had 6 months ago. So thanks for the support Sony Ericsson!

A large company, with a nice foothold in the market, should be supporting Vista within weeks of release -- not months and months down the line.
