Lots of internal work has been done today, perhaps it might just be enough to stick with Postnuke. With a release candidate of 0.9 on the horizon things are looking up again for this CMS.

Anyhow, on to the meat of the update. First, unregistered comments have been enabled once more. The comments module has been updated to a EZ Comments, which has come a long way since I last used it. This time I am ready for the spammers, so I do not expect to wake up to 523 spam comments on each article. Credit here is due to two handy anti-comment-spam modules: Bad Behaviour and Askimet.

Second, security has been beefed up, the site has moved to PHP 5, whilst some internal trickery has been done to protect important files. So we shouldn't see anymore defacing!
