It seems the updates for this wondrous program continue, whilst my hiding under a rock also continues. Anyhow, since a lot of my visitors come here because of my coverage of FairUseWM I thought it would be in my best interests to keep covering this DRM story.
First of the bat, Microsoft filed a lawsuit in federal court on Friday the 22nd of September against "John Does 1-10," for breaking their PlaysForSure DRM software. The defendants include the creator of FairUse4WM which has broken Microsoft's DRM on two occasions. Lets hope Microsoft do not get very far with this one, this lawsuit will just increase publicity for the program, which is not well known.
