No this site is not dead! This is my attempt to make sure Tech Rant never sees another month with no updates!

The number of articles have dried up for a number of reasons -- the main one being that I have returned to university for more punishment.

I decided late last year -- or was it earlier this year? -- to continue with my time at university. I am currently studying for a Masters in Computer Science, a degree that I might find handy...

In other fun news, I joined the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers aka the IEEE, and with that a MSDN account. I doubt that I will be doing any of my university work on Vista mind, even if it comes for free.

Elsewhere, I might make a return to Diablo II modding in the near future. I find myself at unease that The Fury Within: Awakening (TFW) is still a state of limbo; in addition, I have some half completed projects on this computer.

In other fun news, I have been messing around in NetBeans... you just have to love java, even if you only love the alcoho-pop.
